Autumn is in the air here and I have to say it's my most favorite time of year. We experience the four seasons but nothing compares to Autumn. The leaves haven't started to change yet but it's coming. I sense it because the light outside is different. Activities in our home increase during the Fall months. My oldest is playing football and my daughter is playing basketball. The youngest one wants to take tae kwan do. We'll see.. lol. Oddly enough I feel more ambitious when the weather starts to cool a bit. I've been working around the house and I've had help with the yard and so we've done a few new things out there. So now my clean yard awaits the first falling of leaves. I can't wait!!!

I downloaded a new photo program tonight and I was looking through the many pictures taken over the past year. I ran across an image of myself and it made me feel odd/funny/sad inside. I was so sick when that picture was taken and I was denying it. But you know pictures show a lot more than our eyes are willing to see. A year ago I looked in the mirror and I saw a woman who was losing weight and under a little stress..Okay a lot!! But she was coming through it all and she knew it would just take a little time. Tonight I look at that picture and I see a woman who was gravely ill and too proud/stupid/stubborn to see it. Which brings me to my public service message...IF you don't feel "right" inside then please don't put it off! Go to the doctor and let them get to the bottom of it for you. Don't sit back in denial and say it's just stress. I look back tonight and I see that I'm very lucky because despite my own stupidity... I lived.

I've really noticed in the recent years that people are different. Some in good ways and some in bad ways. I'm the rarely mentioned people watcher. The internet is a good place to watch people believe it or not. You may not actually see them but you see a side of them that they're brave/bold/ballsy enough to show. The "real" them. I've been lucky to have met some of the most awesome people online. And yeah there have been the losers who are hellbent on ruining someones life every chance they get. I call those types the "air suckers"...Why? because they could suck the air from any situation and leave one feeling stifled and ready to run as fast as they can. Sadly these types don't usually show themselves right away and most often they're considered friends in the beginning. I remember hearing about such an instance where a person befriended another person and even took it to real life meetings. These two women were friends and sadly the so called friend was sleeping with the other ladies husband behind her back. How freaking weird is that? LOL. But at any rate it was harmful. People do suck sometimes.. So in a world full of users, liars, and all around bad seeds, where is the good? Well it's out there.. Fortunately for every bad person you can usually find a good one. I know I've found a few and in the long haul they showed their goodness in ways that couldn't be denied. So when in doubt?? Poke it with a stick!
